What business software actually costs in India: 10 pricing pages

We read ten pricing pages as an Indian buyer and recorded every number. Three do not publish INR at all, and four show no tax line at any point.

In October 2026 we opened ten business-software pricing pages the way an Indian buyer would: from India, in a browser, both billing toggles clicked, and wrote down every number on the page.

Not vendor claims. Not a comparison table someone else assembled. What the pages said, on the day we looked.

All figures below were read from live pages on 7 October 2026. Prices change; promotions especially. Treat these as a snapshot with a date on it.

What it costs#

Zoho CRM: per user, per month

| Tier | Annual | Monthly | |---|---|---| | Free | ₹0 | ₹0 (3 users) | | Standard | ₹800 | ₹1,300 | | Professional | ₹1,400 | ₹2,100 | | Enterprise | ₹2,400 | ₹3,000 | | Ultimate | ₹2,600 | ₹3,200 |

Zoho Books (India): per organisation, per month

| Tier | Annual | Monthly | |---|---|---| | Free | ₹0 | ₹0 | | Standard | ₹749 | ₹899 | | Professional | ₹1,499 | ₹1,799 | | Premium | ₹2,999 | ₹3,599 | | Elite | ₹4,999 | ₹5,999 | | Ultimate | ₹7,999 | ₹9,599 |

Extra users are ₹180 each per month on top.

Zoho One: the bundle

| Model | Annual | Monthly | |---|---|---| | All Employee | ₹1,250/employee | ₹2,500 | | Flexible User | ₹3,500/user | ₹4,000 |

The All Employee price requires licensing every employee on your payroll, not just the ones using it.

Freshworks CRM (Freshsales): per user, per month

| Tier | Annual | Monthly | |---|---|---| | Growth | ₹749 | ₹899 | | Pro | ₹3,239 | ₹3,889 | | Enterprise | ₹4,899 | ₹5,879 |

No free plan shown. Branded documents are a ₹1,299/user/month add-on.

HubSpot Sales Hub: per seat, per month

| Tier | Annual | Monthly | |---|---|---| | Starter | ₹585 (struck ₹1,670) | ₹835 | | Professional | ₹7,497 | ₹8,330 | | Enterprise | ₹12,500 | annual only |

Professional carries a mandatory one-time onboarding fee of ₹1,25,000. Enterprise, ₹2,92,000. Those are card footnotes, not line items, and they belong in any total-cost comparison.

Odoo: per user, per month, published in INR as "Rs"

| Tier | Annual | Monthly | |---|---|---| | One App Free | Rs 0 | Rs 0 | | Standard | Rs 580 | Rs 760 | | Custom | Rs 1,080 | Rs 1,350 |

A Light User add-on is Rs 195. The page defaults to yearly and shows a struck list price with an asterisk; the footnote reads "The discount is valid for 12 months, for initial users ordered." No tax line appears anywhere on the page.

Not published in INR at all: GoHighLevel ($97 / $297 / $497 per month, per account), Pipedrive ($14 to $69 per seat per month on annual), Monday.com and ClickUp. From India these pages show dollars with no currency switch. Any rupee figure you see quoted for them elsewhere is somebody's conversion, on some unnamed day, at some unnamed rate.

Three things worth knowing before you compare#

The advertised discount is usually not the real one#

We calculated the actual annual saving from the two prices each page displayed, then compared it to what the page claimed.

  • Freshworks advertises "SAVE 20%". The real saving is 16.7%. The 20% is the monthly premium over annual, which is a different number.
  • Pipedrive says "up to 26%". Growth is actually 29.4%: they undersell it.
  • ClickUp says "up to 30%". Business is 36.8%: also undersold.
  • Odoo shows a struck list price with an asterisk. The real saving is 23.7% on Standard and 20% on Custom, and the footnote limits the discount to 12 months and to the initial users ordered.
  • Zoho CRM shows no discount at all. You only find out by clicking to Monthly and doing the arithmetic. It ranges from 18.8% to 38.5% depending on tier.

The most common real saving across the set is 16.7%, which is exactly "two months free", ten payments for twelve.

Nine of ten pages default to annual#

Only GoHighLevel opens on monthly. Everyone else pre-selects the annual commitment, and you have to click to see the monthly price. Worth knowing when a number looks lower than you expected.

Five of ten never mention tax#

Only the three Zoho pages state it ("Local taxes (VAT, GST, etc.) will be charged in addition"). Monday says prices don't include tax. Pipedrive mentions EU VAT and no GST at all. HubSpot, Freshworks, GoHighLevel, ClickUp and Odoo carry no tax line anywhere on the page.

For an Indian buyer that's an invisible 18% on top of every figure above.

The per-user problem#

Six of these ten price per user or per seat. One prices per organisation. One prices per account.

That difference dominates everything else once you have more than two or three people.

Take a ten-person team. Zoho CRM Enterprise at ₹2,400 per user per month on annual billing is ₹2,40,000 a year: for CRM alone, before accounting, before anything else. Zoho One's All Employee model at ₹1,250 is ₹1,50,000 a year, and that's if every one of those ten is on the payroll it requires you to license.

Zoho Books, by contrast, charges per organisation: Professional at ₹1,499 a month covers the org, with additional users at ₹180.

When you compare tools, the sticker price is the least interesting number. Multiply by your headcount, then by twelve, then add 18%. That total is what you're actually choosing between.

How to read a pricing page#

Four habits that make the comparison honest:

  1. Click to monthly. Then calculate the real annual saving yourself. Don't trust the badge.
  2. Multiply by your actual team size. Not today's: the size you'll be in a year.
  3. Add 18% unless the page explicitly says tax is included.
  4. Look for the footnotes. HubSpot's ₹1,25,000 onboarding fee is a card footnote. Odoo's discount is valid for twelve months only, for the initial users ordered. Those are the numbers that change the answer.

Methodology: each vendor's pricing page was opened in Chrome from India on 7 October 2026 and read in full, with both billing toggles recorded. Every figure above was read from the live page. Discount percentages are calculated from the two prices the page itself displayed; where a page states its own percentage, both are given. Promotional prices can change without notice.
